Lisa M. Giannone
is an author and writer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has
worked in the Information Technology field since graduating in 1994. Originally
from southern Connecticut, Lisa holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and
a Masters of Science in Statistics. She relocated to San Francisco in 1999.
Lisa has been an active golfer in the Northern California Golf Association
since 2006. She follows the New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, and the PGA
Tour. Lisa is also a travel, photography and Film Noir buff. She enjoys
classic rock, 60’s culture and classic films from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
Lisa was a
featured travel, food and golf blogger in 2011 for Suite101. Today, she blogs
about Bay Area life as SF Bay Girl and more personal posts in According to Lisa. She also is a contributing poet on

Her first book, a
collection of personal essays entitled No Vacancy, was released on
March 11, 2016. In order to view the collection, you must subscribe to her series on Channillo. A new chapter will post monthly. Her first work of fiction, A Touch of Noir, will
be released on Channillo on May 6.
Lisa’s writings
are inspired by great comedic writers David Sedaris, Sloane Crosley, Sarah
Vowell, Nora Ephron, Fran Lebowitz, and Erma Bombeck.
